Der erste Winter in Amerika, ich hatte nicht geglaubt, dass es hier so kalt würde, Jim???? Neffe Ludwig. The first winter in America, I had not believed that it would get so cold here, Jim??? Nephew Ludwig. Brunhilde Buechel suggests that this picture might have been taken in Pittsburgh. Eugene Buechel indicates that Joseph Wehner was a Milwaukee resident as was William Buechel. Ludwig Buechel lived in Pittsburgh, PA.

Sheboygan, Lake Michigan, Juni - June 1933 Herman Buechel is on the right and Joseph Wehner is on the left (identified by Eugene Buechel) -- Brunhilde identifes Uncle Joe as her dad's second cousin. Brunhilde Buechel-Cortney confirms the identification and suggests the picture might be Lake Michigan.

Herman Buechel. 1932. Weihnachten - Christmas. Brunhilde Buechel-Cortney identifes these people as Brunhilde Hohmann Tante Brunhilde), Emilie Hohmann (tante Selma), Grandmother Hohmann (mom's mother), Albert Hohmann (mom's brother), Tante Maria - Martha Hohmann Buechel's side. On a blow up of this picture Brunhilde has Tante Brunfilde the first on the left (her aunt), Tante Maria next, Emile Hohmann my grandmother, Tante Selma, and far left Albert Hohmann (my uncle). I could have misread the first picture but bet to confirm.
